Kennel “ALEN’S DREAM” breeds Chihuahuas with the purpose of
improving the breed one step at
a time, generation by
generation.
As a breeder, I do all my best
to breed a beautiful, healthy and
sound Chihuahua, which can be
a wonderful companion or a
great show dog. I breed for a
sound body and mind, after the
principle “Not for quantity, but for quality”.
Besides a special Breeder Education in 2005 and 2006, I keep educating myself with all the newest books about how to breed better and healthier dogs.
I am in good contact with many experienced Chihuahua Breeders, and I appreciate their help and advices very much. I am open to establish and maintain communication with Chihuahua Breeders worldwide. We can learn from each other and share concepts, although I expect that we will not always agree. Respect for others and their opinions is important and opens the door for exchange of ideas. Together we can share a common goal of good ethical breeding.
After researching and studying the bloodlines of many Chihuahuas, I selected some of the best lines, and I now follow my own breeding program.
All the breedings in my kennel are carefully planned to ensure the
domination of the desirable traits in the puppies.
Before the each breeding both the Male and Female get a complete veterinarian check to find out either they are in the prime condition for breeding.I only use the strong females above 1800 gram for breeding to minimize their health risks during the pregnancy, birth and the after birth periode.
The pregnant and lactating females get a special meal to give their puppies a best possible growing and evolution.
I am happy to have an excellent veterinarian who takes care of our dogs, so both the females and their newborn puppies are under the current veterinarian control.
All written here, ensures the breeding of some sound and nice Chihuahuas with an outgoing temperament, which are the great representatives of Chihuahua breed.
